4 eggs, separated
1/6 cup sugar
1/2 pound mascarpone cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
2/3 cup rum
wasabi powder
grated chocolate
Blend sugar and egg yolks until the yolks are pale yellow, then slowly add mascarpone a bit at a time, blending til smooth. Continue blending and add about 1/8 tsp. wasabi powder.

In a separate bowl, whip egg whites til stiff peaks form, set aside.
In another bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form.

Fold cream into egg and cheese mixture, then fold in egg whites. Be careful, so the whites don't collapse!
More to come...

My grandma would love you. She always said that dessert was too good not to eat it first.
Now I want to go to Philadelphia.
I'm not so sure about this recipe...even my folks who love tiramisu and wasabi are not game for this one
Hey Trisha!
I was really leery of this one too, but the server at Morimoto's talked me into it, and I'm glad she did!
There's barely half a teaspoon of wasabi powder total in this dish. The wasabi is very subtle and a nice counterpoint to the sweet mascarpone cream.
